Maths

In maths we are learning about Addition and exchanging using the Column Method.

English

In English we have been learning about poems and this week we would be writing up our own poems. 

I task you to write a list poem about the snow. Below is a word bank for children to use when writing their own poems, make sure to use rhyming words and challenge yourself by using alliteration!  

Spelling Rule

During out English lesson we focus on a singular spelling rule. This week's spelling rule is words ending in -ture. 

Additionally, on Friday we will be participating in a Trust wide Spelling Bee online, the National Curriculum spellings for Year 3 and 4 are the spellings being used. Practice these and lets WIN!!! 

History

In History today we are learning all about how Anglo Saxon Britain was ruled. Looking at the 7 kingdoms in depth and looking at what Anglo-Saxon names are still around in modern England.

Computing

In computing we are learning about computer systems and how they connect. Looking at input and output systems, what happens when you input something (eg. type) what then is the output on the computer.
