For the Summer Term our skills focus in Art has been sculpting. Each class linked to their class learning has created a sculpture.
In KS1 we took inspiration from the painting 'Starry Starry Night' creating a sculpture of the Cypress Tree to make a 3D version of the painting. We used techniques of rolling, twisting and pinching to shape our clay sculptures.
In LKS2 we took inspiration from our learning about the Spanish Armada and created our own fleet of ships. We use techniques of shaping , joining and incorporating other materials into our model ships.
