As we approach the end of our first full week of 'Blended' learning staff, pupils and parents will reflect on what has worked well and how we can continue to meet the needs of our pupils.
It is important that we focus on the needs of our pupils and our school community. I communicate daily with several professionals working in many schools across the country. What is very clear and what we should focus on is what works for us. This will be different depending on context and need – there will be different priorities in different communities.
We welcome and invite feedback from our families in order to shape and make our blended learning work for our children.
This week we have introduced online live sessions for each year group, uploaded resources, guidance and web links to the each class page on our website, provided resources for collection and taught children of key workers. As a team we are reviewing what has worked well and how we can develop our learning platforms further.
We are a strong community because we have always worked together, shown empathy and respect. I thank our many families for their support and positive feedback to staff and myself. Our focus in the coming days will be to review our blended learning and continue to enhance our provision for all.
Our staff will provide families with updated overviews for the coming week. Please contact School either via email to your child's class teacher or call school if you need any clarification, advice or support. If we are unaware we can not support.
