Far Forest Lea MemorialCE Primary School
Our school values are fundamental to the ethos of our school and are evident in all that we do. As pupil’s, staff and stakeholders, we strive to live, work and play by the values that underpin our education.
At Far Forest we:
Persevere with all aspects of school life.
Are respectful to all members of our school community and the wider community.
Show that we can be a good friend to everyone.
Are responsible for our resources, school, environment and behaviour.
Forgive each other and ourselves.
Live in peace with ourselves, others and our environment.
Perseverance - "Do not grow weary in doing good", Thessalonians 3:13
Respect - "Therefore, however you want people to treat you, so treat them", Matthew 7:11
Friendship - “Do for others as you would have them do to you”, Luke 6: 31
Responsibility - “Each of you must take responsibility for doing the creative best you can”, Galatians 6: 5
Forgiveness - “Just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you must forgive others”, Colossians 3: 13
Peace - “The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace”, Psalm 29: 11
Each half term we focus on a different value in detail, including during Collective Worship and class-based sessions.
